Filthy Fixations | 2010
My [alliterative] take on what it is like to write poetry.
Plethora of thoughts fading into pining complaints
and courageous souls succumbing to cowardly lust
with growing empathy decaying amongst green-eyed losers
capable of infinite feelings yet exhibiting infinitesimal emotions
amusing individual tempests enervating tempestuous individuals
rendering the passionate weary and the perfunctory wholesome no more
under direct livid light
concealing battered details of forgotten faces
but farther away and astray
shunning off the shadows accentuating the aberrations
escaping frivolous fantasy
for sake of unpleasant injurious incidents
despite their darkness, blasphemously boiling to be treacherously true
upon their dwelling in humble houses replacing hollowed homes
Gaps
Prominently prevailing
betwixt voiceless vocals
and screaming silence
reparably beyond repair
as the malevolent pen mellifluously keeps bleeding
