Nana P.C. | 2010
In the summer of 2010 I wrote a series of short poems which I compiled into a Visual Sketchbook. This is Entry #13
Every Saturday of the week
I enthusiastically waited for you
to come and sweep the dust off me,
clean my face and charge my heart
so I could still be of help to you
year after year
my one and only
best friend.
And it’s been a while
that you turned me on
since they got you that
newer and shinier
foldable version of me.
But I want you to know that
for whenever you might still
need me
I’ll always be
just one
power button
away.
